Since last Friday’s shutdown deadline, congressional Republicans have had a rare moment of unity and competence. The Democrats held out on passing a continuing resolution to fund the government on behalf of illegal aliens, and ultimately caved after only three days. Even leading cuckservative Paul Ryan stood strong beside the President and put the blame for the shutdown on the Democrats. For every Republican willing to take even the most minor stand against illegal immigration and amnesty, this is a victory.
However, not all Republicans are willing to take the win. Jeff Flake spent his time last week voting against the continuing resolution, attempting to pass DACA, and giving a sanctimonious speech on the Senate floor which extolled the virtues of the fake news media and blasted Trump for exposing the media’s dishonesty. The fact is, Flake wants the Republicans to lose. He wants Trump to fail, and he wants Whites to give up and concede the country to corporate interests and Third Worldism. For all of his moaning about American values, Flake expresses absolute disdain for this nation in his insistence that it be phased out of existence through mass immigration. Flake echoes the sentiments of Lindsey Graham, who responded to Trump’s “shithole countries” comment with this statement:
“Following comments by the president, I said my piece directly to him yesterday. The president and all those attending the meeting know what I said and how I feel. I’ve always believed that America is an idea, not defined by its people but by its ideals.”
Flake and Graham believe that every person on the planet is a potential American. If they can make it to America (by any means) they are just as American as me and you. In fact, they are more American because they embody the “idea” of America as a “nation of immigrants” and a diverse country. In reality, if everyone can be an American, then no one is an American. In order for there to be an “us,” there must be a “them.” Flake’s ideology seeks to destroy America by destroying Americans as a people.
Flake announced his retirement several months ago. He claimed to be leaving out of a principled stand against Trump and the nascent nationalism of the Republican Party. The reality is that his neoliberal politics can no longer win in the new Republican Party. Flake admitted as much in his retirement speech on the Senate floor, lamenting that, “It is clear at this moment that a traditional conservative who believes in limited government and free markets, who is devoted to free trade, who is pro-immigration has a narrower and narrower path to nomination in the Republican Party.”
It is clear from his antics that Flake sees himself as some sort of cuckservative martyr. Since announcing his retirement, he has sought to work with Democrats and against the new Republican agenda, even donating to the campaign of Democrat Doug Jones, who topped Roy Moore for a Senate seat in Alabama. Flake wants to position himself as a media darling of the left, in the mold of John McCain, by being one of the few Republicans “brave” enough to stand up to Trump and the burgeoning White identity politics in this country.
In reality, Jeff Flake is an absolute wimp. Like his cuckservative colleagues, he makes a show out of weakness and ineptitude, then calls it being “principled.”
In his whimpering retirement speech, Flake moaned about “the coarseness of our leadership” and “the compromise of our moral authority,” talking points straight from the Democrats. Flake claimed he was risking his career in favor of principles, while seemingly fighting back tears when discussing the nationalist turn of the Republican Party. This “brave cuck” approach is off-putting to watch—a man claiming to be tough and defiant surrenders at the first sign of resistance, his voice quivering as he criticizes his nation and his party. The approach has been turned into an art form by Paul Ryan and John McCain, but Flake may have perfected it.
The most revealing statement of Flake’s retirement speech was about his worry that the current path of the Republican Party “threatens to turn us into a fearful, backward-looking minority party.” The racial connotation here is obvious. To Flake, the Republican Party will literally become the minority party because it will become the White party, and Whites will become a minority. Flake is telling Whites not to try because they have already lost.
Fast forward to last week, and Flake is again on the front lines fighting for White dispossession. He brought the same self-righteous act to a speech on the Senate floor last Wednesday. He accused Trump of attacking “constitutionally protected free speech,” for calling out media bias and dishonesty. But does Flake really care about free speech violations? If so, then why is he not speaking out against the suppression of pro-White speech? Through deplatforming and online censorship, pro-White activists are the only ones truly having their free speech rights violated. Something tells me that Flake doesn’t actually care about the principle as much as he says he does. A hypocrite and an opportunist, the untalented Flake has insinuated himself into the national conversation by pretending to care about the American values that he stomps on every day.
Flake characterized the mainstream media as a “free press.” Yet, every major outlet is controlled by massive conglomerates which all push nearly identical lines. The outlets Flake is ostensibly standing up for—the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, etc.—are all controlled media which run a massively biased left-wing, pro-immigration line. This is not a free press simply trying to expose the truth. However, they agree with Flake, so he defends them vehemently.
“To dismiss their work as fake news is an affront to their commitment and their sacrifice.”
—Jeff Flake last Wednesday
Flake wants us to think of the media like war heroes. According to him, we should be deferential to talking heads like Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper because of their supposed “sacrifices.” Flake went on to say, “Reverence for the press [has] been our hallmark.” He wants Americans to revere CNN and other fake news outlets.
The biggest headline-grabber was Flake’s comparison of Trump to Joseph Stalin for using the phrase “enemy of the people” to describe the fake news media. He then insinuated that President Trump is actually the enemy of the people, saying, “It is [Trump] who should be the figure of suspicion, not the press.” Flake’s retirement can’t come soon enough. He is a saboteur who favors the anti-American press over the President and foreigners over Americans. Jeff Flake is the true enemy of the American people.
